Tip to sports fans

My business partner, Bill, loves to get his Boston Red Sox TxtVox alerts...except when the Sox lose. Here's a tip: Blackberries do not bounce and they do not float, but they can break windows. So if your an emotional fan like Bill, you may want to have a friend read your TxtVox alerts to you. Just a helpful tip.

Hi All,

Did you see all of the new content channels we added to the site yesterday? We added a lot of original content that can't be found anywhere else. You'll now find Music Reviews, Movie Reviews, Joke of the Day, Fashion Tips, Scripture of the Day, Word of the Day, Girl Power, and Sports Stars. For you dog and cat lovers, we have also added Daily Doggie and Daily Kitty, both of which are very funny as they are written from the pet's perspective. And finally, we added a channel called Anti-Celebrity, which provides a humorous slant on Hollywood.

I encourage you to try some of these new channels. Just log in to your TxtVox account by clicking on the Sign In link in the top right corner of the page at http://www.TxtVox.com. Don't forget--if you ever want to stop receiving certain types of alerts, simply log in to your account and click on the trash can icon next to the alert.

Please let me know what you think of the new content channels we've added. We'll have many more surprises for you soon.

Welcome!

Hi,

Welcome to the TxtVox.com blog. Thank you for your interest. The purpose of this blog is to keep you up to date on what's happening with TxtVox--new features and content, our growth, challenges we experience along the way and more. But we do not intend this blog to be a monologue or a one-way form of communication. We want to establish a dialogue with you. We want your input, your ideas, your suggestions. I know it sounds cliche, but we really do want to build a community around TxtVox.

The TxtVox web site is still in beta. What that means is that we are still working out a lot of kinks. The service works, members are joining (rapidly!) and alerts are going out. But we are constantly identifying and fixing bugs in the code. We could really use your help. If you notice something with the web site or the alerts that doesn't seem quite right or could be done better, please let us know by leaving a comment on this blog or by sending an email to us at helpdesk@txtvox.com. We have no pride in authorship--we want just to make this the best service possible, so feel free to share all of your thoughts about TxtVox, minor or major.

We started TxtVox as an alert service for your cell phone. But it is going to be so much more. In the coming weeks and months, we are going to be unveiling a slew of new features, some of which may actually change the way we communicate and interact. We will also be introducing many exciting new content channels designed to keep you informed and entertained.

Thanks again for your participation.
